What kind of services are offered at EC Hands4Health?
EC Hands4Health, Inc. offers a range of modalities to help fit each individual need. We provide integrative therapies to tailor our client’s concerns. EC Hands4Health currently offers Deep Tissue, Swedish/ Relaxation, Chair/ Event, Sports Therapy.
Where are the services offered, can you come to my location?
Since 2016, we have traveled to our clients' homes and offices. We now have a location in East Harlem. On the reservations' page, there is an option to have services rendered at the location of your choice (home, hotel, office etc.). If services are performed at your location there is a traveling fee (to be determined after address is given).
How often should I get massage?
That is subjective and of course varies case by case. However to see the best results regarding any chronic pain, once biweekly would be ideal. For maintenance purposes, such as muscle soreness, once a month would suffice.
I’ve never had massage before, what should I expect before and after the first session?
Prior to the massage, a few questions would be asked to determine some brief medical history, goals for your therapy sessions, and some quick assessments. You would after, undress to your comfort level in private and get on to the table. After the session, you can discuss any questions you may have or concerns (please feel free to address any concerns during the session as well). Be sure to fully hydrate and prepare to recuperate if you have received any intense bodywork i.e. deep tissue, trigger point therapy etc. Ask your therapist for any recommendations on self-care and stretches that may be beneficial to your needs.
Refund/ Cancellation Policy
Life happens, that’s more than understandable but we require that you contact us if you will not be able to make your appointment. We ask that service be canceled or rescheduled 24-48 hours in advance. Cancelled appointments are non-refundable; however, we will be more than happy to reschedule a new appointment with you!
To ensure quality service please be prepared to start at your appointment time. Starting after your appointment time will result in you receiving the remaining time left. For example, if your 60 min session begins at 12:00pm and we being at 12:15pm you will only receive 45mins instead of the full 60 mins.
Sessions are non-refundable.
